I Am A Manufacturer.

What Would I Put On My Website?

To reach beyond your current area and customers your manufacturing and industrial website needs a professional website that includes several import pages and features.   Home page should include your logo and vibe for your business, mission, an overview of your products and services, why they should choose you over the competition. Eye catching imagery of the production, the types of industries you serve. If you manufacture for auto industry having flashy sports cars scroll across your header in a photo gallery will keep views on your page even longer. It will catch the eye of anyone who loves cars and is in that industry. Having a video of your manufacturing or the end product will keep visitors on your page for longer than 30 seconds which will help your search ranking.   The Products & Services pages will use keywords and phrases and describe your specific niche to attract businesses to your page that need your type of industry specific supplies. If these companies are out of your area, this the easiest way they can find out about you. Gathering information on a form from your client allow you to do two things. First forms are incoming marketing doing the work for you. Second you can capture the information and they will automatically be added to a CRM to mail a monthly newsletter. If you offer a variety of product or services, I would recommend a page for each specific service or product so that you can be found on the search engines when someone is doing a search for your type of industry specific product or service.   Contact Us might be the most important page on your site. Many web designers tend to forget to ask their customers to put a few paragraphs of text on this page. Thinking the phone number, email, map and form is enough information, but search engines will frown on not having enough text on this page. If you do sell products online in an eCommerce site, this page will turn visitors into customers. You may need some online selling and we can help with this too. Keep the forms simple to encourage website views to ask for more information.   An About Us page tells your current and future customers about your experience, accomplishments and the culture of your company. Each page should have a minimum of 400 words. Content is king but relevant content is Queen. Using professional photos of the staff will show your high quality and thoughtfulness to every detail.   Having a Blog may not seem relevant to you if you are in manufacturing, but things are always changing and letting customers know how you are implementing these changes will keep them informed and let them know you are up to date on current manufacturing practices in your industry.   You may also have new products or services and want to let the world know. Showcasing these new events in your company will let your potential and current customers know you are leading the trends in your industry. Just as sub pages about your products and services help with SEO so do Blogs. They provide current information and new content on the site often.   A manufacturing or industrial website is important for building your business, gaining new customers, and keeping your current customers informed. Capturing the attention on the home page and keeping it with relevant recent information and on inner pages of the site will build clients and show you are a leader. The investment in a website will pay for itself over and over again.   Get in touch with us to find out how we can help your company have a farther reach.  info@theezwebsolutions.com
