What Else Can I Do To Help Visitors Find My Website?

With the sea of websites on the internet, just having a website will not bring the business you hoped for. Yes, it is your business's first step to an online "Hub." Having a website and visitors finding it are two very different things. Imagine having a party with great food, decorations, and live music, but your guests do not show up because you forgot to mail out the invitations. That's the same as having a website without engaging in other digital marketing strategies. 
The sales funnel starts with various digital marking strategies that bring visitors to your website. These tools will help your website become an option for customers to learn more about your business. What are they? I'm glad you asked.
  1. Content marketing. Content is the number one way Google finds your website. Customers want fresh and relevant content through words and images on your site. 
  2. Blogging is content marketing but in another form. We have a blog tool embedded right in our system that makes it easy to blog. Did you know blogging four times per week will increase your website traffic by 4.5%? 
  3. Social Media There is over 133 social media sites, but you don't have to do all of them. Engage in the platforms that are popular and relevant to your business.
  4. SEO Search Engine Optimization helps Google raise your business to the top of the search. Having the right content is the first and most important part of SEO. An SEO expert then uses that content to create title tags, page titles, page descriptions, alt tags for images, etc. 
  5. Geo Marketing If your business has a physical location, having alerts pop up on your website to encourage customers to give you a call or stop by is an excellent reminder that your business is close to them.
  6. Ecommerce Selling products and services online is ever-increasing, especially after the pandemic. Did you know you can sell your service and hold the meeting right on your website?
  7. M-commerce. What is that? Mobile commerce makes up over 30% of all US commerce. Everyone is on their smartphone researching and buying.
  8. Digital Marketing - Google and Facebook both paid and unpaid advertising. You need to be different, genuine, and authentic and create good content to stand out that people seek and enjoy. Groups are critical. Do you have a group you run? 
  9. Email Marketing - We have updated our CRM and email marketing system. Create groups and email out newsletters to those specific groups. 
  10. Google My Business - I help all my customers get on Google maps, even if they do not have a physical location. Updating your Google My Business page with information is critical.

  12. Human Interaction. You may be part of the Chamber of Commerce, a professional organization, or a referral group. These are great ways to connect with potential clients or get referrals though keeping in contact through email marketing, social media, and newsletters.
